The Incredible Years® is a series of interlocking, evidence-based programmes for parents, children, and teachers, supported by over 30 years of research. The goal is to prevent and treat young children's behaviour problems and promote their social, emotional, and academic competence.

IOSIS

Iosis has developed a unique approach that combines experiential learning programmes, practical support and coaching that leads to lasting change. Family members move through a process of Becoming, Belonging and Back-up that stabilises and strengthens their family life.

 

HIPPY

HIPPY - Home Interaction Programme for Parents and Youngsters is a home-based programme that helps parents create experiences that lay the foundation for their children’s success in school and later life. The programme is designed specifically for those parents who may not feel comfortable in their own abilities to support their children’s education.

 

School Readiness

Practical information about education for parents and carers.

 

Family Works

Delivers social services to support children and families to learn, grow and thrive. Offers counselling and social work support for children and families, along with a range of group programmes. Also partners with others to prevent family violence and strengthen communities.

 

Manurewa Marae

Manurewa Marae is a beautiful marae sitting on the shores of Te Manukanuka o Hoturoa, Manukau Harbour. The Manurewa Marae was originally initiated by the vision and passion of a handful of whanau living in Manurewa, who wanted a marae to support Tangihanga and ensure that Maori Tikanga, Kawa and ​heritage were maintained. The marae has now grown with the community into a beautiful safe haven, where whanau, organisations and people of all cultures can come and learn in a vibrant and sacred setting.

 

Counties Manukau Sports

CMS works alongside a variety of sport and physical activity groups across south and east Auckland supporting regional organisations, clubs, community groups, schools, early childhood centres, groups involved in health, Marae, Maori groups, groups for people with a disability, Local Boards and the local business community.

Whirinaki

Whirinaki (meaning to support) is a specialist mental health service for children and young people living in the Counties Manukau region. Provides a variety of specialised treatment options aimed at children, young people and their families/whānau.
